It's such a shame that the world is so busy and has no time to stop and smell the roses. We have gotten so used to expect the world, companies and businesses to bend over backwards to get your products to you in the shortest space of time as possible.

Fortunately for us at Cuddly Bear Wear even if we tried we can not rush the way we do our business. So if you are in a hurry maybe this site is not for you.

​

Here at Cuddly Bear Wear, we need time to perfect your order, and we will not be sorry for taking the time to do that. We make all our bear clothes here in the UK, We source and recycle as much fabric as we can. Our Ready Made and Tailor Made clothing is made from fabric made in the UK. We are still trying to reduce many things within our company, as alternatives can be difficult. We too are on this journey, and if you find we are falling short, and you can see an alternative we can use please do let us know.

How schools help.

Cuddly Bear Wear started in 2005, with 2 recycled uniforms for bears. it has grown to more than we could ever have hoped. We are proud to be a British Company, and proud to have as much of our resources we need from the UK. Mainly this comes from you. Every time you send in clothing and garments to be recycled you too are doing your bit.

​

We try to get the message out to schools, who in turn relay the message to the pupils in their schools that we need to do as much as we can to look after our planet. Earth is our home and its a very precious unique place to live. If we do not start living by sustainable means then we may as well give up now. Our children are living and beginning to see the result and mistakes of our past. We need to start reducing the waste, and start finding alternative ways of living.

We are only the caretakers of our planet Earth, we have no right to destroy something that is on loan to us. We are so busy with technology that our children are beginning to lose their social skills of communication. Technology is there to enhance our living experience, not to take everything away.

​

All the skills of the past are slipping away. We do understand that in the past we did things out of necessity, but in losing the skills like knitting, sewing, and crafting our children and adults alike and beginning to feel the effects of the modern world. Anxiety, self-harm, medical mental illness and the like are on the rise. Taking up an enjoyable craft can and does redirect stress into positive energy. Learning how to stop! and pick up a hobby, and not to rush through your newfound activity to get to the end, but to enjoy the process.  Get your children to stop rushing and to start to enjoy being in the moment. Get them to start a hobby today. Look in your local area and find an enjoyable hobby to do. One that doesn't involve competition, or a reward at the end. One that is solely there for enjoyment and the process of the journey. Sometimes getting to the end isn't meant to be the final destination. But the journey itself was the lesson.

As a green company, we provide special event toys and items for many occupational industries such as Schools, Hospitals and Football clubs. We also specialise in providing bespoke fashion wear to customers who send in their recycled school uniforms or similar clothing into “Cuddly Bear Wear”. We then recycle; redesign, resize and refashion their used school uniform or clothing items to fit their child’s favourite cuddly toy or teddy bear.
